وَإِنۡ طَآئِفَتَانِ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٱقۡتَتَلُوا۟ فَأَصۡلِحُوا۟ بَيۡنَهُمَاۖ فَإِنۢ بَغَتۡ إِحۡدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ فَقَٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّتِي تَبۡغِي حَتَّىٰ تَفِيٓءَ إِلَىٰٓ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِن فَآءَتۡ فَأَصۡلِحُوا۟ بَيۡنَهُمَا بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَأَقۡسِطُوٓا۟ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِينَ (الحجرات:49:9)

اور اگر مسلمانوں کے دو گروہ آپس میں لڑ پڑیں تو ان کے درمیان صلح کرا دو۔ پھر اگر ان میں سے ایک دوسرے پر زیادتی کرے تو اس گروہ سے لڑو جو زیادتی کر رہا ہے، یہاں تک کہ وہ اللہ کے حکم کی طرف لوٹ آئے۔ پھر اگر وہ لوٹ آئے تو ان کے درمیان انصاف کے ساتھ صلح کرا دو اور عدل کرو۔ بے شک اللہ انصاف کرنے والوں کو پسند فرماتا ہے
