حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ،حَدَّثَنَاابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ،حَدَّثَنَاسَعِيدٌالْمَقْبُرِيُّ،عَنْ أَبِيهِ،عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ،قَالَ:قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ:مَنْ لَمْ يَدَعْ قَوْلَ الزُّورِ وَالْعَمَلَ بِهِ، فَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ حَاجَةٌ فِي أَنْ يَدَعَ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ(صحیح بخاری:1903)
Adam ibn Abi Iyas narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi’b narrated to us, Sa’id al-Maqburi narrated to us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever does not give up false speech and acting upon it, Allah has no need of his giving up his food and drink.
