Bloodstained Faces in Turmoil
The room was dimly lit, everyone was sleeping deep in their comfortable beds and enjoying deep slumber and beautiful dreams. Suddenly my eyes opened and went straight to the faces of my grandchildren, where I saw faces covered in blood and bruises. And I felt like I was standing on a pile of rubble in the dark of night, as cold as the weather was and I was shivering, my screams stuck in my throat, my trembling fingers touching my children’s faces, wanted to touch but was suffering from severe pain. I felt like my whole body was ravaged by wounds. Feeling that my hands, feet, and unknown bones were broken, I was moaning in pain but above all I was worried about my grandchildren, I had tear streaks on my dusty cheeks.
Seemingly flowing, I had to transfer all the strength of my being into my hands so that I could touch my little granddaughter, trembling fingers touched her cheeks, but there was nothing. She was perfectly fine and having fun. While sleeping, I carefully touched the other children and saw that they were all sleeping peacefully. As life returned to my body, all the faces in the room looked clear and calm. I was in my safe room instead of a pile of rubble. What and why was all this, raised my hands before my Allah SWT and started offering thanks and was forced to think that I am in this state only after seeing a dream, but just think what the condition of the hearts of those parents will be who will have their innocent children, who are running here and there carrying the bodies of newborn babies, who do not even want to bury them and cannot keep them together. If you want to see the shape of pain and suffering, look at the images coming from Gaza, Palestine. If you want to witness pain in action, watch the videos of Gaza, Palestine۔
I am assuring myself that we are not in a difficult phase right now, but we are on a continuous journey to enter a difficult period. Do you know which morning and which door will open and a difficult phase will overtake us, or we will fall into a deep and terrible pit? I am sure that like me there are many people in the world today whose sleepless nights have flown, and their tears have probably dried up due to the intense feeling of fear, they are also bound in their feet like us. The faces of their children, bound by invisible shackles, must be scaring them, that the enemy’s ruthlessness is increasing because of our cowardice, and lest he start dropping bombs on us one day. Give and then everything that has passed in front of the eyes like a dream not long ago should not become a reality. It is the law of nature that if you continue to tolerate oppression, oppression will continue. The oppressor is an oppressor as long as the oppressed lives. For the last two weeks, similar scenes have been circulating in front of our eyes, in which death seems to
be dancing vigorously and life is passing by sobbing. Muhammad bin Qasim defeated Raja Dahir on the cry of a girl for help and came to the subcontinent as a Muslim conqueror for the first time. How many innocent voices are echoing on social media today, but it seems that lead has already been melted and poured in our ears the effect of which is visible only with the eyes, the rest will be done later. It seems that the apocalypse has begun.
Being insensitive is crucial for acquiring power. Modernity has taught us that safeguarding the established borders of a nation is the responsibility of its leaders. This means that the concept of the nation has been beautifully buried. You are committed to protecting your borders, and we are responsible for our borders. On
one hand, the social media is continuously sharing real-time updates, while on the other hand, there is no practical effort being shown. There is no blame on anyone here; the shame lies in our own cowardice and weakness.
The whole world knows who the oppressor is and who is the oppressed, but despite this, its master, the United States, came to Israel’s aid with all its glory and a fleet full of weapons, and the American Secretary of State was the first to support Israel. While introducing himself as a Jew in front of the whole world, he changed the definition of the oppressor to the oppressed, and immediately after that, Joe Biden also reached to express solidarity with Israel and threaten neighbouring Muslim countries. The British Prime Minister of Indian origin arrived with a plane full of weapons to pay a visit to Israel Netanyahu, and then how could the leader of France, famous for anti-Muslim, be left behind, he also patted Israel’s back for this ongoing cruelty. I felt it necessary to contribute.
People question where the rest of the Muslims were when oppression and brutality were unfolding during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Imam Hussain (may Allah be pleased with him), and other family members at Karbala. The answer is clear: we confine ourselves to our own borders, and sometimes, we’re limited to the four walls of our homes.
I learned this lesson from a brave child in Gaza when he, upon seeing the aid arriving, said, “We are not traitors. We are sacrificing everything for the land of the prophets so we can grow crops and end your hunger. Don’t blame us; it’s our weakness and cowardice. We will present our case and our representation in Allah’s court, where we will appear with our wounded bodies, and our advocates will be our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Imam Amir Hamza, and Imam Hussain.”
So, this child’s words speak volumes: we are limiting our response to our borders, where we can make a difference. We don’t need to feel ashamed; we need to act. We need to take inspiration from those brave souls who are standing up against oppression. Their struggle is what we need to see. It is also a shameful truth that this cowardly character of all these Muslim rulers has become a reality in history and their own future generations will be ashamed of their shameful character, but the case of Qayamat, Day of Judgment will be completely different.
There is no shame or regret here for anyone. May Allah bless and keep our homes prosperous, provide us with sustenance, and keep smiles on our children’s faces. Our borders are far from Palestine, and the responsibility of the entire Muslim Ummah is not on our feeble shoulders. These days, the most important preoccupation in our lives is the Cricket World Cup, where Pakistan’s cricket team is not performing well.
If the concern for Palestine does not affect those who live near its borders or have common boundaries with them, those who have a taste for expanding their valuable palaces, where living is their destiny, and those who proudly claim that it is their fundamental right to own a yacht costing five hundred million dollars, and they express it with great pride. And nor do I have any complaints against those countries whose despair caused people in Ukraine to suffer from water and electricity shortages, and the whole world condemned it. Do the heads of America, Great Britain and France does not see the seven thousand martyrs of Gaza, including more than three thousand only children and more than 19 hundred women, from the barbaric bombardment of Israel, the roofs of the hospitals have been blown away, there is no ambulance left. Perhaps now even the beasts of the forest, lions, and leopards, have cried that even when our stomachs are full, we do not say anything even to the baby deer passing by.
Today, all the essential amenities of life in Gaza have been destroyed, and The New York Times has assigned the responsibility for the destruction of the hospitals in Gaza, but America will stand by its hired soldier because it has various scales of human sympathy, or perhaps it does not consider Muslims as human beings.
I tried very hard not to write something like this, but I have written it. Perhaps I have lost due to my apathy. I apologize to all of you.
