What a difference a few decades make. In the mid-1990s, Americans (and some other nations) believed that American liberal democracy would dominate the world in the future. The Warsaw Pact had collapsed. Latin American dictators were holding elections. Concepts of human rights were spreading, and liberal institutions were flourishing. The future of humanity seemed to be tied to democracy. Francis Fukuyama’s famous phrases “Humanity has reached its pinnacle” and “History ends here” have become part of mainstream political thought around the world. Tomas Friedman was telling us all that everyone has embraced capitalism. And that the most important player in this system is America.
It is understandable that three US presidents appreciated, adopted and carried forward these same concepts. Clinton’s national security policy revolved around maintaining connections and expanding her sphere of influence. Her declared goal was to spread democracy as far as possible. Apparently, George W. Bush, holding the Liberty Doctrine, wanted a balance of power that supported freedom. He called it America’s sacred mission in his second inaugural address, but he is also the pioneer of the scourge of “world order.” Obama carefully evaluated this goal, but despite all caution, he took action against the dictatorships in Libya and Syria in the name of “Arab Spring” but the goal was the completion of the “world order”. He told the United Nations General Assembly in 2010 that there is no more fundamental right than to choose one’s own leader and to determine one’s own destiny, but the American side behind the cover of the action of Western countries in Algeria did not hide their duplicity. could Thus, for the past three decades, America believed that the world was moving towards a more liberal, accountable, and democratic governance, and no one should have any doubts about it, but the abomination of removing the elected government of Egypt and bringing Al-Sisi to power. The role played is also in front of the whole world.
But then the calendar turned to 2017, and Americans suddenly realized that the era of one-man rule was back. Dictatorship reigns in Russia. Chinese leader Xi Jinping has also consolidated his power. Some quarters consider him even more influential than Chairman Mao Zedong. Trump’s son-in-law of Jewish origin “Gerald” and a very close friend of the Saudi crown prince and current “Lawrence of Arabia” sitting in the special palace of the crown prince prepared a plan after which the Saudi crown prince He not only wiped out his political opponents under the guise of accountability but also collected hundreds of billions of dollars from them by accusing them of corruption and this movement of his is still going on. They have taken most of the power of the country in their hands.
Currently, the storm of ISIS has settled in the Middle East, but no one knows what kind of governments will be established in Iraq and Syria. One thing can be said for sure and that these governments will never be democratic. Eastern Europe is not fully democratic either. Hungary and Poland are definitely on the road to dictatorship. These states are openly defying liberal concepts. That they are ineligible for membership of the European Union, but perhaps they have other goals in mind that are currently being kept out of the world political scene.
What can the American government say in this global environment? For this reason, it is very important to keep in mind the actions of a stubborn and egotistical government like Donald Trump. His face was disfigured. Not only did he immediately declare the enmity of Muslims for the first time by making many countries a remote shrine, but he also started an easy propaganda to gain fame by declaring the impossibility of building a wall of thousands of miles between his neighboring countries. Arab monarchs began to openly show their power in need of American help, and in return, words of praise for these dictatorships and individual governments, as well as billions of dollars in defense contracts came into existence. The matter did not end here, but Israel was not only recognized for the first time in the Arab countries, but the centuries-long civilization of the Arabs has also been forced to die. The new province is being built rapidly which according to a news report will surpass the famous American states of Hawaii and Alaska in terms of luxury.
Apparently, this crazy leader who divided America on the basis of race had no complaints about these dictatorships, but he not only looked at them with great pride, but also encouraged the Arabs’ slavish thinking by fully supporting them. However, in these Arab states, the rulers are neither accountable nor protected by any constitutional restrictions. No one should be surprised that this is why this president (Trump) continues to make the justice system a target of ridicule. They are sad that they do not have more control over the justice system. If you recall, Trump fired “James Comey” from the FBI simply because he failed to prove his loyalty to the President. Trump ordered him to stop investigating Russia’s technical meddling in the US presidential election.
During his tenure, Trump gave the impression that there was no need for state institutions. They can do whatever they want, no restrictions on them, but why did Trump forget that the US government’s defense of democracy for so long cannot be “reversed” so easily? . More importantly, it has sacrificed for democracy for a long time, and it can sacrifice more. Needless to say, Trump’s behavior was a clear departure from American political traditions. The US has always been inconsistent in supporting democracy and willingly allied itself with dictators on key issues that it finds easier to deal with individuals to further its agenda and rule, but on important political issues. And it’s one thing to prioritize other interests and it’s another thing to leave aside your views and build bridges of praise from unrepresentative figures. Doing so is also bad because it breaks this tradition, which has been a valuable diplomatic asset in the past. It was the conviction that the United States took a stand for some other purpose than just individualistic interests.
This change is not what people expected in the immediate aftermath of the Cold War, but it is not surprising either. Instead of becoming powerful, the world’s largest and most important democracies have suffered major losses over the past twenty-five years. America attacked Iraq and Afghanistan based on wrong reasons. Confused matters and suffered massive losses due to poor administrative situation. As a result, the American political system deteriorated. The opinion of the people about the politicians went from bad to worse day by day. Worse still, no one was held accountable and Trump’s actions emboldened the rising public outrage. The establishment of the euro in Europe turned out to be a fatal mistake, with far-reaching consequences. Britain’s decision to leave the European Union exposed the incompetence of the British rulers that their vision failed miserably in realizing the success and failure of the project in time.
Many of the dictators whom Trump finds enviable have less than stellar records. Putin has certainly done better in some areas, but he has not been able to address the weaknesses of the Russian economy. At the same time, he has failed to find better solutions to social problems. America and some other democracies have successfully established themselves despite showing bad performance for two decades, but they have also been guilty of criminal negligence on the issues of Afghanistan and Iraq, and especially for their own interests, their pet Israel in Gaza and Modi. In Kashmir, they have provided a license for the brutal killing of humanity.
It is worth remembering that the US tried to extricate itself quickly from the crisis of 2008, but it was also credited with the foolishness of making India the governor of the region, showing the unwiseness to stop China’s growing economic development. The previous two administrations, especially Junior Bush, are at the head of Trump’s stubbornness to bring it to the top, which will continue to cause the destruction of the United States and will continue to be fulfilled by the current American president.
The recent defeat of America at the hands of North Korea has made Trump so drunk with water of regret that even the honor of America has been destroyed. At the beginning of the new year, a vapid “tweet” was issued to frighten Pakistan. After doing this, political circles and analysts in America themselves started expressing doubts about his mental status. The damage that Trump has done to the United States with his unilateral policies and stubbornness, political analysts within the United States have been demanding Trump’s dismissal. Former President Ronald Reagan’s son has called for Trump’s impeachment calling him an idiot, a lunatic and the most unfit person in American history.
Trump’s declaration of “Jerusalem as the legitimate capital of Israel” caused a stir around the world, as a result of which Trump had to face the issue in the United Nations, but despite this, Trump continued to praise and describe these countries. who did not participate in the polling of this resolution. However, Israel continues to advance its Zionist projects step by step. The Muslim world is indulging in mutual strife and complacency of colonial powers. Will there be any change in the future? That remains to be seen.
Israel has always insisted that Jerusalem will remain under its control, and the Palestinians demand that at least the eastern part of it (which was taken from Jordan in the 1967 Arab Israeli war) is occupied by Israel) should be Palestinian control. In the same eastern Bait al-Maqdis, there is a land area of about 35/acre which is known as the Haram al-Sharif and within its limits are the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock (Dome of Stone). This is the place from where the Prophet of the last days (peace be upon him) made a great journey to the heavens for ascension and towards which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions continued to pray for about 15 years. That is why it is called the first Qibla. About only three mosques in the world, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said that it is permissible to go there exclusively to pray and give them precedence over all other mosques. These three mosques are Kaaba Allah, (Prophet Mosque ) Masjid-e-Nabawi and Masjid-e-Aqsa.
On September 28, 2000, the head of the Israeli extremist Likud party (later Israeli Prime Minister) Ariel Sharon visited the Haram al-Sharif (Masjid al-Aqsa), where Palestinian Muslims held peaceful protests. Israeli soldiers opened fire on the protesters. Since then the whole of Palestine has been burning like a furnace. The people of Palestine have three times run an extraordinary freedom movement in the name of Intifada. In this way, Gaza, which is under siege, has repeatedly been a victim of Israeli military aggression, and now for the past several months, Gaza has been exposed to the whole world day and night. It is with great sadness that I have to write that 57 Islamic countries, like cowards, have become ignorant of their hereafter and their criminal appearance before God in the concern of preserving their power.
The Israelis are adamant that Soleimani will build a temple within the boundaries of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. United will keep Jerusalem (Bait al-Maqdis) as its capital. And the embassies of the whole world, including the United States, will be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. On the other hand, Muslims are ready to make huge sacrifices to stop Jews from this unjustified action. So far, many thousands of people have been shot by Israeli soldiers and thousands of houses have been demolished and it is not known where this chain will reach. The eyes of the whole world are focused on the ongoing conflict in Jerusalem.
On the other hand, a hypocritical statement by American President Joe Biden is circulating in the world media that “Arab states are ready to recognize Israel and I am working with all other countries including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and Qatar”. Who does not know how much support the illegitimate Israeli state has from America. Joe Biden is scrambling to ensure his victory in the upcoming US elections. On the one hand, they are giving Muslim countries a two-state solution and on the other, they want to kiss Israel’s warlike and bloody hands and be back in the White House. It should be clear that whoever intends to recognize Israel in these circumstances, the people there themselves will hold them accountable in such a way that the power for which they are willing to commit a great crime will be the slaves of that power. will refuse to provide further shelter.
On the other hand, with the blessing of the powerful circles, the discussion has been started about what is wrong with recognizing Israel. What is our dispute with Israel? Now many Arab governments have recognized Israel or are about to do so. It is also being said that when the Arabs supported us, that we are still hostile to Israel because of them. The loss of our enmity is that Israel and India remain friends. If we recognize Israel, we can also become its friend and reduce its closeness to India, but why are we forgetting that at this time, hundreds of Indians have joined the Israeli army and shed the blood of the Muslims of Gaza.
These arguments are influencing people who are simple-hearted and ignorant of the historical, historical, religious, moral and psychological aspects of the matter. Recognizing Israel is not simply a matter of recognizing or not recognizing a country. Israel is the forcibly acquired ethnic homeland of the Jews and the fulcrum of global Zionist hegemony. Out of the eternal conflict of right and wrong, hundreds of crooked aspects of the past thousands of years are associated with it, which no sane Muslim can ignore. What is the importance of Bait al-Maqdis and its historical background? How much truth is there in Israeli and Arab claims on this? And what are the Zionist ambitions and plans in this regard? It is important to be aware not only of the delicacy of the Palestine issue and its religious aspects, but also of historical and historical facts. I have elaborated on all these aspects in my columns many times with historical arguments and now it is the duty of the Muslim Ummah not to allow the powerful circles in their respective countries to participate in any agreement that destroys the first Qibla of the Muslims. By doing this, the Jews could dare to build Haikal Suleimani.
