This day, then, recalls the grandeur and survival of Pakistan, when a people bound together in common cause inscribed with their sacrifices a chapter as luminous as any in the annals of nations. By unity we were delivered from the long twilight of bondage into the radiant dawn of liberty. \n\u201cExalt the selfhood to such a height that, before destiny is decreed, God Himself will ask His servant: Tell me, what is your desire?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

These words are a covenant: that the survival of the nation and the greatness of its people lie in fortifying the inner self, in seeking knowledge, and in preserving the cultural and spiritual values which are the marrow of our identity.<\/p>\n

And in our present hour, when the adversary, defeated in open combat, seeks revenge in the shadows of deceit\u2014through the whispers of falsehood spread upon the platforms of social media\u2014we must be vigilant. Let us not yield to the poison of their propaganda, but stand resolute in faith, united in purpose, and steadfast in heritage.<\/p>\n

For our literature, our language, and our culture are not relics of a vanished past; they are living ramparts, shining lanterns upon our path, guardians of the homeland as essential as any soldier in the field.<\/p>\n

Pakistan: A Sacred Trust of Faith and Destiny<\/strong>
\nAs we all know, the foundations of Pakistan were laid upon the bedrock of an Islamic ideal. Recently, our armed forces\u2014through courage, unity, and faith\u2014brought the designs of the enemy to nought. This triumph was not merely of arms, but of spirit: a victory born of national unity, of sacrifice, of conviction in the justice of our cause, and above all of faith in Allah. The sacrifice of our martyrs reminds us of a solemn truth: nations are born of the blood of martyrs and sustained by the spirit of sacrifice.

Let us then remain vigilant, for the enemy is never at rest. We must stand fortified not only on the military front, but upon the economic, intellectual, and moral battlegrounds. It is the duty of every citizen to embody the teachings of Islam in his personal and national life, and to stand as guardian of the land entrusted to us. From Iqbal we have learned that khudi\u2014selfhood\u2014together with unity and sacrifice, is what makes a nation strong. The responsibility to protect faith and homeland belongs not to the soldier alone, but to every citizen.
\nPakistan itself is a miraculous State. The Qur\u2019an admonishes:

Upon this soil, we wrote our destiny with His aid; upon this soil, we are called to establish a society governed by His eternal law. He raises questions upon our soldiery, he strikes at our culture, our language. Yet mark this: if we make of consciousness, unity and faith our weapons, these machinations shall never prevail. For a nation whose youth are armed with the sword of knowledge can never be subdued.<\/p>\n

This, then, is the hour to transform our schools into fortresses of research and discovery; to cleanse our media space into a field of truth; to make of every household a sanctuary of morals and culture. So let us renew our covenant:
